Your Guide to Successful Videos: Free Teleprompter Alternatives

Do you make videos for YouTube? The chances are that you probably do. When you record your videos, you most likely use a webcam, unless you are a real video geek.

When recording your videos, you
try to look at the camera. That is basic ettiquette for any type of camera production, but you also have to speak fluently and clearly and know what you want to say.

If you are like myself and HATE video-editing, you probably want to get the video right first time so that you don't have to do any silly jump-cuts or special effects to make your video look good. The best way to do this is to have a script of what you are going to say ready for when you record the video.

You could use a device such as an iPad with the script typed out on it or you could use Notepad in Windows to type it out, but really, you want a teleprompter. We have a free alternative to an average teleprompter that you can use online with no installation, signup or add-ons required.

Bring in EasyPrompter (http://www.easyprompter.com). This service allows you to type the script directly into the app, highlight and edit certain aspects of the script and then finally, during production, speed up and slow down the speed of the text on the screen.

This service is extremely useful to anyone who makes videos and sometimes stumbles over what they are trying to say.
