You may have noticed that a few weeks ago, Instagram put a form online to allow you to sign up and get notified when it was available on Google Play. Yesterday, I was going through my email inbox and just literally, at the top, sent to me a few seconds before I opened it, was an email from Instagram telling me I could get it on Android!
In case you don't know, Instagram is 'A Fast, easy and Beautiful way to share photos with family and friends'. Monday was my first experience with Instagram, but I have to say it was really easy to use. I took a snapshot with my camera, loaded it onto Instagram, selected a filter and published it to my personal blog, which runs no Tumblr (as does the Instagram Blog).
A few of my friends who run iOS have been using Instagram for a long enough time for people like myself as with everybody else to know that it actually exists. I will probably be using this as the default way that I share pictures on my personal blog.
