Overview
The Wacom Bamboo Pen in a great looking and very functional tablet. It is SO thin, so sleek and designed to perfection by the great team at Wacom. This graphics tablet ranges in price from £50-£70 in the UK.
Looks
Overall, this tablet looks great. It is extremely thin, very sleek and shiny, though surprisingly, is not a magnet to fingerprints. The tablet is a great size to sit on a desk as it does not take up too much space, but is a very good size to work on the computer, weather you like to draw, take notes or just want to have an "alternative" method to communicate with your device.
Functionality
This tablet is very functional. This is the second tablet I have owned from Wacom and it is by far more functional than the last model of the tablet. The so called "active area" has a paper-like texture when writing which I think is a nice feature. The tablet has a pressure sensitive pen which comes included with the tablet.
The connection on the tablet is a standard USB cable, so isalmost boun to work with your computer after you install a few drivers either from Wacom's website or on the disk that comes in the box.
I use this tablet every day. It is now a major part of how I use the computer and so I could not live without it.
Price
The price for this particular model is in my opinion, very good. You could buy a non-Wacom tablet and get only a handful of the features that a Wacom tablet would have for the same price. As stated, the price for this tablet is around 50-70 pounds in the UK.
The Pen
Included with the tablet itself, comes a pen/stylus. This pen has a patented battery-less technology which only Wacom tablets can offer. This is a major feature for me as I am a relatively lazy person who can't really be bothered to change batteries!
Conclusion
Overall, this tablet is GREAT. I would definately recommend this tablet to any user of any operating system because it offers a great user experience.
