Best Free Audio Editor Is.....

Have you ever needed to edit audio and didn't want to spend a lot on the software? Well for a few years now, an open source project called Audacity has been producing quality free audio editing software that is powerful and very easy to use. I have used this multiple times to record music and voice and I was extremely impressed. The first time I used this program, around Christmas last year, within 5 minutes of installing it, I was recording audio and generating effects, removing background noise and normalizing the audio without any "lessons" on YouTube or online.

I would highly recommend this software to anyone who wants to record a podcast, record musical instruments or really anything that you can think of.

Audacity is free to download and you can use this link to try it out.
